Extension
Importance of Extension
As part of the University’s land-grant mission, we are committed to education, research, and extension. I must admit that communicating with non-scientific audiences—through newsletters, television, and other media—is not always easy. However, I recognize that it is an essential way to ensure that our research extends beyond academic boundaries and reaches the broader society we serve.
Below are selected press releases and outreach materials highlighting my research.
